Buswell was born in 1983 in Orange Park, Florida. After two years of studying nursing, she was discovered in 2002 while staying at a hotel where a modeling convention was taking place. Buswell played the flute in the band at her junior high and was involved in track during junior high and high school.
On a trip to Disney World,[when?] she entered and won a new models contest being held there. Two months later she traveled to New York City and signed with Marilyn Agency.
Buswell has appeared several times in the American and Italian editions of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, ID, and Numero. Her covers include Elle, Flair, Marie Claire. She has been featured in campaigns for Versace, Tommy Hilfiger, Alessandro Dell'Acqua, Oscar de la Renta, Prada, Gianfranco Ferrè, Jean Paul Gaultier, L'Oreal, Benetton, Chanel, Christian Dior, Ralph Lauren, Escada, Fay, John Richmond, Victoria's Secret and many mores. She has also walked in fashion shows between New York, London, Milan and Paris for the biggest fashion names like Anna Sui, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren, Chanel, John Galliano, Roberto Cavalli, Hermès, Balenciaga, Gucci, Valentino, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo, Kenzo, Viktor & Rolf, Dries Van Noten, Stella McCartney, Zac Posen to name a small number.
Buswell was featured in the 2005 edition of the Pirelli Calendar.
She's also famous as the face of the "Classique" fragrance campaign by Jean Paul Gaultier.

Marcelle Bittar de Almeida (born on May 5, 1982 in Guarapuava, Paraná, Brazil), better known as Marcelle Bittar, is a Brazilian fashion model of Lebanese decent.
In 1996, Bittar was registered by her mother in a Elite Model Management contest and subsequently joined the agency casting at only 14 years old. Her other agencies include Ford (New York, Miami), Women (Milan), Select (London), Mega (Hamburg), and Ten Model Management Agency, which is her mother's agency. In 2001, Bittar was nominated for the Abit Fashion Awards for the best female model. That same year, she participated in the São Paulo Fashion Week/Breast Cancer campaign at Alvo da Moda.

Behennah was born in Singapore where her father was a school administrator. The youngest of three children, Michelle relocated to Sheffield, England, after her parents' divorce. Her mother Rosemary eventually remarried and now lives in France where she and her current husband manage an inn.
As a child, Behennah aspired to study medicine and become a plastic surgeon. Her mother saw her potential as a model. At the urging of her mother, 14-year old Michelle entered a beauty contest sponsored by a shampoo company.Michelle won the contest.
She next entered the 1993 Ford Agency "Supermodel of the World" competition. At this event she was a finalist, along with now fellow model Magdalena Wrobel. Her career was now launched.After her win, Michelle moved to Paris, where she spent seven years establishing her name in the modeling industry. While there, she appeared in magazines such as Elle US, Glamour Italy, Vogue Italy and Spain, Mademoiselle, and Cosmopolitan.
She has also modelled for designers such as Cynthia Rowley, Valentino, BCBG, Donna Karan, Emanuel Ungaro, Nina Ricci, Ralph Lauren, Salvatore Ferragamo, Chanel, and Thierry Mugler.
In 1999, Michelle made the move to yet another world fashion centre, New York, where her career flourished. Besides the fact that she has appeared in high-profile advertisements for Burberry, Esprit, Givenchy, Vanderbilt Jeans, Hewlett Packard, J.Crew, Kenzo, L'Oréal "Elnett" hairspray, Mango, Nina Ricci, Saks Fifth Avenue, Swatch watches, and Tommy Hilfiger.
Michelle has also modeled swimsuits for Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition, in 1999, 2000 and 2001. In addition to her Sports Illustrated shoots, she was the object/subject of Joanne Gair's inaugural body painting works as part of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
